Real World Tips For Weight Loss That Work

Real World Tips for Weight Loss That Work Real World Tips for Weight Loss That Work
By Sally Symonds
Anyone who has been in the weight loss game for a while will begin to notice that a lot of 'tips' are the same information rehashed over and over again. Eat less, exercise more, avoid salt, drink water... yada, yada. But real people need real tips, unique ones that, though odd at first, actually work to push them forward on their weight loss journeys.
Tip #1: Weight Loss Is Not a Rewards-Based System
If you want to lose weight, seeing it as a goal with a 'reward' at the end is counterproductive. The 'reward' is losing weight and regaining control over your life. What is better than that?
Furthermore, studies have shown that extrinsic rewards, things such as, 'If I lose 5 kilos I will go get a nice massage,' actually serve the opposite of their intended purpose and demotivate us to work. How? By focusing on extrinsic rewards, we take our eye off the prize and concentrate instead on short term results. Weight loss, lasting weight loss that is, is a long-term, eye on the prize process.
Tip #2: Give Yourself Some Space
Strict regulation and an unwillingness to compromise on 'rules' are the hallmarks of most traditional weight loss programs. It is also the reason they don't work. You need to give yourself some space to mess up and avoid the 'what the hell' effect whereby after being so strict for so long, once you fall off the wagon you literally go bouncing down the road rather than softly land.
It is human nature to seek freedom within boundaries and the more we put up in our own paths, the more we will (eventually) rebel against them all. If we take care not to over regulate ourselves in the first place we will naturally achieve balance and avoid such violent swings to the contrary.
Tip #3: Be Prepared
Planning and preparation is the only way to ensure that you keep yourself on track without making yourself crazy. People eat fast food for two reasons: it tastes good and it is convenient. A little bit of planning and preparation can make healthy food both those things as well. However, planning is not limited to food, you need to prepare and insulate yourself on a psychological level as well. I call this developing a 'motivational toolkit'.
Tip #4: Your Will Power Is a Muscle
People, especially people without weight problems, make the mistake of thinking that weight regulation is all about willpower. But, if it was, we would not have an obesity epidemic. There is not an overweight person out there who wants to be overweight and it's a lot more than his or her willpower that is keeping it that way. In fact, your willpower is a lot like a battery. It only has so much strength before it is depleted so you need to carefully pick when you use that power and conserve it for times of 'need'.
This does not mean that you should constantly give in to temptation, however-quite the opposite! Your willpower is just like a muscle and by exercising it, you increase its strength and endurance. Just don't overdo it.
Tip #5: Find YOUR Motivation
Listen, we all know why we need to remain fit and healthy. We want to live full lives, avoid illness and chronic pain, etc., etc. However, absent of a doctor telling you that you have six months to live unless you lose 15 kilos, those universal reasons are not enough to actually get us up and moving.
Instead, you need to find your motivation. That special reason given to you that gets you into the gym and making the right decisions in the kitchen. Also, you need to recognise that 80% of the decisions you make are based on emotion rather than reason. Use this to your advantage and look for emotional motivations to keep going on your weight loss journey. You need to figure out what motivates you early and focus on that motivation throughout your journey if you are to succeed.
These tips are only the beginning of the help you will receive if you join me and Love Your Weight Loss over at http://www.sallysymonds.com.au. Take your weight loss journey into your own hands and into the real world.

Diet and Weight Loss - The Secret Ingredient to Walking For Weight Loss

Do you really need to walk for hours to lose weight? Burning calories while walking doesn't have to be a slow process. You don't need to walk for hours at a time. There is a secret weapon that you can implement that will speed up the fat burning furnace. Why not get the biggest return for your weight loss efforts? Does 20 minutes a day three days a week sound like something you could do?
The secret ingredient to your weight loss recipe is "intervals". What is an interval? Basically an interval is a period of time built into your workout. What you do during the interval is the real secret.
Let me give you an example. Your normal walk is say 20 minutes. For two or three one minute periods, interspersed into your walk, you will increase the intensity of your exercise. You can do this by walking faster or jogging. You could raise the incline on the treadmill, or walk uphill. You could even stop your walk and do sets of jumping jacks, mountain climbers, or anything that raises your heart rate a little higher than normal. Then go back to your normal walking pace.
Here's another example. Start walking. Walk for 5 minutes. Now jog for 1 minute, or raise the elevation on the treadmill. Go back to your normal walking pace for another 5 minutes. Now again jog for 1 minute, or raise the elevation on the treadmill. Now finish the last eight minutes of your walk.
The benefit of using intervals is not the extra few calories that you burn during your workout. No, the benefit comes from a raised metabolism. After completing your walking and interval workout, your metabolism will be raised for hours after you finish.
So if you want to raise your metabolism, burning more calories, and losing more weight, incorporate the "secret ingredient" into your walking routine. 20 minute workouts three days a week is good, four to five days a week is even better. Turn your body into a fat burning furnace. Don't forget to eat right, eating high quality, healthy foods.

15 Great Tips To Lose Weight Fast

Want to lose weight fast? It's easy to say goodbye to 10 pounds of unwanted fat with these easy diet tips. Just pay attention to what you eat and be sure to have good tasting, fresh and healthy food including snacks, fill up on vegetables and keep your taste buds happy with fruit.

No need to make sacrifices! Just follow these simple guidelines to lose your first 10 pounds, last 10 pounds or give your weight loss program a boost when it seems to have stuttered to a halt. This is a balanced and flexible plan that you can use for as long as you want.

1. Keep a note of everything that you eat and drink. You do not need to estimate calories. Just write down what it was that you had and the approximate quantity. You will find that being more aware of what you are eating helps you to plan healthy meals and snacks.

2. Halve your intake of all pure or added fats. This means using half as much butter or spread on your bread, toast, muffins and potatoes; half the usual amount of mayonnaise or sauce on your salad; and half the oil in the frypan every time.

3. Limit treats containing sugar to three times per week. This includes chocolate, ice cream, desserts, cake, pastries, cookies, etc.

4. Include a lower fat source of protein at most meals: chicken, fish, beans, cottage cheese, or low fat yogurt. Have eggs, nuts and red meat occasionally but not every day.

5. Plan at least one lunch and dinner every week without meat or cheese. Build those meals around whole grains, vegetables and beans to increase fiber and reduce fat.

6. Reduce the fat content in your milk products. If you are currently drinking whole milk, reduce to 2% fat. From 2% reduce to 1%. Choose lower fat cheese and yogurt. When you buy yogurt, also check that it does not contain sugar.

7. Have at least two servings of fruit every day. This can be for dessert or snacks. Choose fruit that is in season.

8. Drink water instead of sodas, juices, milky drinks or alcohol. Avoid diet soda - the sweet taste only encourages you to crave sugar. Hot water with a slice of lemon can be very refreshing in the morning.

9. Include at least two servings of vegetables at lunch and dinner. If you are getting hungry, have more.

10. Eat slowly. The body is slow to register when you are full and it is easy to eat too much if you are racing through your meals.

11. Grated carrot makes a great snack. You will find that a grated carrot is much more filling than a whole carrot. Strange but true.

12. Use whole grains wherever possible. The fiber will give you a fuller feeling and also help your digestion.

13. Choose food that you can chew. Again this will increase your fiber intake, and the act of chewing will make you feel more satisfied too. This means eating fruit instead of drinking juice. If you have soup, make sure it is chunky.

14. Plan your meals and snacks ahead of time. Plan your shopping too - make a list of what you need and stick to it. If you just grab something when you are feeling hungry, you will probably choose high calorie food.

15. Always switch off the TV when you eat. That includes snacks as well as meals. Studies have proved that we eat larger portions in front of the TV, probably because we are much less aware of what we are eating. When you eat, only eat if you want to lose weight fast.

Juicing for Weight Loss

Want to lose weight fast? Who doesn't? If you want to lose weight fast you could just quit eating. Not a very healthy way to get skinny. You can lose weight by fasting, but your body still needs nutrients. How about a juice fast?

Juicing has a lot of health benefits. Your body gets a chance to detox. Your digestive system gets a chance to rest. You still are getting nutrients that your body needs. Do you have to fast for a long time? Not really, it's up to you. You can fast for a day, a week, or even for a few hours.

Try a juice fast. It's healthy and it may help you lose the weight you want to get rid of.

How to Lose Weight and Still Drink Soda

By Donald Hylton (I recently posted this article to EzineArticles.com)

There are probably hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions, who are currently on a diet. One of the things that impact your success is how may calories you take in that are in liquid form. Most people I know like to drink sodas. But can you drink soda and still lose weight? Here are 5 tips to help you succeed in your diet while still drinking your sodas.
1. Drink Diet Soda
Diet soda has the benefit of not having any calories or at least very few. Diet soda won't impact your calorie intake, but there are some cautions. Some of the sugar substitutes, while calorie free may not be fooling your body. It may react as if your soda was sugared. I know that when I drink diet soda, my craving for sweets tends to rise a short time later.
2. Half and Half
Here's something you may not have thought of. Say you're at the convenience store and you decide you want a soda. Instead of getting that 32 ouncer full of Cola, why not save yourself half the calories by filling the cup with half regular soda and rest with the diet version? You not only save calories, it also tastes better than 100 percent diet soda.
3. Drink From the Can
Instead of filling up at the soda fountain, why not just by a can of your favorite soda. That 12 oz can will cost you about 140 calories. The advantage is you know exactly how many calories you are taking in. A 32 oz cup of soda at the fountain however would be approximately 373 calories. Get a cup of ice with your can of soda and you're ready to go.
4. Limit Your Soda Intake
If you are going to drink sugared soda, you may want to limit yourself to only drinking soda one day a week. Consider this your cheat day when you can eat whatever you want.
5. Knowledge is Power
Knowing how many calories are in the food you eat or in the liquids you drink will help you keep your diet on track. As I mentioned before, a can of Cola contains approximately 140 calories. That breaks down to 11.6 calories per ounce. If you see someone filling up that Big Gulp 44 ounce cup, that works out to a whopping 510 calories.
There you have it. 5 tips that will allow you to stay on track with your diet, yet allow you to enjoy drinking soda. A diet doesn't have to be all chicken, vegetables, and mineral water. Here's to a successful weight loss plan. Bottom's up!

Tell The Truth - Why Do You Need To Lose Weight?

Tell The Truth - Why Do You Need To Lose Weight?
By Robert Carleton

We have all been there before (well, most of us). Standing in front of that mirror and thinking "Oh my God, what happened to my body?" When you think this, why are you thinking that? Many people will publicly say to friends something like "I am happy just the way I am." But is it the truth? Are you happy just the way you are? When it is just you and your mirror - are you really happy with the image looking back at you? If not, there must be some reason you are thinking about losing weight.

Maybe your husband, wife, or partner does not find you attractive anymore. Is that the reason you are considering trying to lose weight? Friends can easily tell you that if your partner loved you, your weight would make no difference. If only life and biology was so simple! These friends are trying to make you feel good but not telling you the truth. I am here to tell you that most red blooded men and women would rather like to be intimate with someone they are physically attracted to. Maybe you were physically attractive when you first met your significant other, but is that true today, or did you let yourself go? Is this why you are trying to lose weight. Be honest.

Maybe you feel you are discriminated against because of your weight when looking for a job, or when you are trying to get promoted in your present job. The reality of the world is that attractive people generally make more money. You don't need to look like Brad Pitt or Angelina J, but you do need to be a normal weight. If you want to believe it or not, we are a people that are obsessed with physical appearance. If there is a new job opening and it is a job where you will have to be face to face with customers, who do you think the boss wants to hire? A person that looks pleasant (that does not mean skinny), or a person who looks fat? Come on, you know the answer.

Listen, no one is perfect, but you need to put a plan in place if you are not comfortable with your present appearance. Decide that today is the day. You are going to do something about it. Listen, I understand, but the reality of the world is that if you look fat, people look at you differently. Right or wrong, that's the truth.

Are you depressed because of your weight? Do something about it! I invite you to get this amazing and truthful
FREE REPORT.

A way to eat your favorite foods and still shed bodyfat like crazy

Sunday 17th of May 2009

Re: A way to eat your favorite foods and still shed bodyfat like crazy...

Let me get right to the point:

If you thought you had to give up your favorite foods in order to shed unwanted bodyfat, then this will be one of the most important letters you ever read.

Two "former fatties" developed a System of eating that allows you to eat whatever you like every other day and still lose all-the-weight you want.

No pills. No guilt. Just a dietplan for the REAL WORLD, developed by real people.

If you want to skip ahead, go here --

http://tinyurl.com/lequ2a <== click >>> Most Dietplans Are Too Hard

Most of what you've read about how to shed bodyweight is a lie.

Some 'experts' expect you to believe they eat chicken and broccoli every night for dinner and rarely if ever cheat.

Right. And I'm the Dalai Lama!

Just as bad, these plans are too difficult for anyone to follow for more than a few weeks.

So when folks like you discover they can eat their favorite foods every single week and still shed the weight you should see the look on their faces.

They can't believe it.

Some think they have to take some "superpill" to succeed. Not true!

Others think they will have to spend hours a day in the gym killing themselves. No way!

Here's the truth:

Jon and Jan were both obese. Over the past four years, they perfected a System that shows
you how they went from obese to "cover model" fit and still eat their favorite foods.

Not "once a week" either -- they INSIST you eat yummy food frequently and without guilt or worry.

>>> Even better, they never count a single calorie!

See for yourself --

http://tinyurl.com/lequ2a <== click

Here's the facts: there is NO SUCH THING as a perfect dietplan. But thousands of people make billions of bucks off of selling the idea that there is only ONE way to eat in order to get lean.

Even worse: these people create dietplans so ridiculously strict that even fitness pros like Jon and Jan can't follow them! They had to create a plan anyone could follow. Women, men, and even kids.

You should see these pictures! They used Jan's six-year-old daughter Kari to prove a point -- This is so simple a even CHILD can do it! And you should see their clients...the few who know about this System...

They get to eat pizza, burgers, ice cream, and more...and still lose-the-weight! This is not a pill or a scam...this is science applied to the real world.

The science: you take advantage of the fact your body prefers a change of pace and can respond by burning ugly fat. The real world: no one is going to eat salad and tuna every day for the rest of their life in order to shed bodyfat and feel good again.

Simple, right? Common sense! You absolutely MUST HAVE a dietplan you can live with for life. And that's what this is.

Even better: through our special link-below, you get this new System at **HALF PRICE ** for a limited time only: http://tinyurl.com/lequ2a<== click

That's HALF PRICE just for reading my blog. How great is that! What is this new System called?

>>> Announcing "The Every Other Day Diet!"

Great name, isn't it? Pretty much says it all.

But this isn't just a 'book'. You are supported for an entire year with audios, recipes, success
stories, and more.

All for less than the cost of a dinner for two at a cheap restaurant.

That's hard to beat.

Plus you get it at half price.

PLUS you get 10 killer bonuses worth over $500.

Call it a gift for being a loyal reader. Or call it a Holiday Special...whatever you like.

This is a simple plan that you will absolutely love.

It's a System that took years to perfect and is about to take the entire nation by storm.

And you get it first.

Go read more --

http://tinyurl.com/lequ2a <== click

Sincerely,

Donald Hylton

P.S. Thank you for being so patient, too. Jon and Jan received countless emails about The Every Other Day Diet..."When is it coming out?" "How can I get an advanced copy?" "How the heck does it work??" Go here and get your advanced copy...at half price...and discover the System for yourself -- http://tinyurl.com/lequ2a <== click

3 Tips to Eat a Healthier Diet to Lose Weight Faster

3 Tips to Eat a Healthier Diet to Lose Weight Faster

By Mike Geary

If you want to lose weight, we all know that eating a healthy diet should be your first priority. Sure, exercise is important, but diet is king when it comes to lifelong weight management. I hope this article gives you some simple, yet effective ways for you to make healthy changes in the way you eat on a daily basis.

1. Make sure to eat at least some healthy fats in most of your meals. Eating enough healthy fats is very important for maintaining proper fat burning and muscle building hormone levels in your body. Adequate healthy fats in your diet also helps in keeping your appetite under control.

The healthiest sources of dietary fats are raw nuts, seeds, egg yolks (from organic free range eggs), avocados, extra virgin olive oil (highest antioxidant content of olive oils), coconut oil (a great source of healthy saturated fats in the form of medium chain triglycerides), and grass-fed meats (a great source of the healthy fat, conjugated linoleic acid, which can help burn body fat and build muscle).

Try this tip -- eat a handful of raw nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds are great healthy choices) 3 times a day about 30 minutes prior to meals. This can help to quell your appetite and give your body some protein, fiber, and healthy fats so that you eat less calories overall at your meals and get more nutrition at the same time due to the high nutrient density of most nuts.

2. Try to eat a high quality protein source with each meal and snack that you eat. Quality proteins from grass-fed meats, grass-fed raw dairy, and even from plant sources such as nuts and beans provides good appetite suppression so you can control your calorie intake easier.

Getting ample quality proteins also helps you to build lean muscle (if you're working out hard regularly) so that your metabolism can run at a higher rate from the increased lean muscle on your body.

Eating sufficient protein at most of your meals also aids your body in controlling blood sugar and insulin levels by helping to slow the breakdown of ingested carbohydrates.

3. Although I do not fully agree with extremely low-carb diets, I do believe that one of the main reasons that so many individuals struggle to lose weight for most of their lives is due to eating excessive processed carbohydrates such as refined grain-based starches and refined sugars on a daily basis.

==============================
www.getsexyabsnow.com
==============================
The natural sugars in whole fruits and berries are ok because the fiber in fruits helps to slow the blood sugar response in your body. Just make sure to avoid fruit juices, which are mostly sugar and have the fiber removed in processing the juice.

In my experience as a nutrition specialist, when people start to minimize their grain consumption (from cereals, bagels, breads, pasta, etc), they start to lose body fat much easier. What I usually recommend is for people to minimize eating grains and focus their carbohydrate intake on fruits and vegetables solely. This simple step alone usually helps people to start managing their weight more easily.

Try to implement these 3 tips for eating a smarter, healthier diet and I'm willing to bet that you'll start to see a leaner body and more energy in no time.

If you want some ideas for reduced-sugar desserts that are healthy but also delicious, check out these lower calorie desserts.

If you find it hard to make the healthiest food choices at the grocery store, here is a good article on choosing healthy foods.

Understanding the 4 Basics of Weight Loss

http://www.theskinnyonfatloss.infoSummary: Lauren S. Johnson writes about basic principles for losing weight. Many dieters misunderstand these principles. Their failure in dieting may be caused by following misconceptions of proper weight loss principles. There are four things you must have for successful weight loss. You must have exercise followed by proper nutrition. You must also eat at the proper intervals, not skipping meals. You should also include fiber and protein at every meal. Following these four tips will help you in your weight loss efforts.

Understanding the 4 Basics of Weight Loss
by Lauren S Johnson

One of the biggest problems that a lot of diet enthusiasts have is the misunderstanding of basic weight loss principles. For instance, some people feel that as long as they eat healthy they do not have to worry about exercise. Others believe that they can eat anything they want as long as they exercise at the end of the day. These are just a couple of the common misconceptions. In this article I will list four basic principles of weight loss that everyone should know.
1. Exercise is a must. Physical activity is absolutely crucial if you want to lose weight. Dieting alone may provide some results at first; however, once your body is accustomed to your eating habits you will no longer burn fat.

2. Healthy nutrition is very important. It's ridiculous to assume that you can consume absolutely anything you want as long as you remember to exercise at the end of the day. Unfortunately dieting is not that easy.

3. Don't skip meals. Some of us feel like skipping meals will help reduce our daily calorie intake;
however, all that does is increase our hunger and lead us to overeat and snack for the remainder of the day.

4. Consume protein and fiber with every meal. Fiber is excellent at improving our metabolic activity and helping us feel full longer. Protein is also excellent at helping us feel full longer because it is broken down slowly by our bodies.

These are the four basic tips of quick weight loss. People who follow these tips have also found help from all natural diet pills and various herbal remedies. So if you are passionate about fitting into those skinny jeans again, follow these few simple tips and watch the weight melt away.

The 1-2-3 Quick Workout for Easy Weight Loss

Think you have to kill yourself at the gym to get in shape? Too many people believe that when starting a workout regimen, that they'll to have to hit the gym for a couple of hours at a time in order to see results. Wrong. This is precisely what prevents people from starting a workout routine in the first place. All you need is a half-hour to forty-five minutes three or four times a week and you'll see how easy weight loss and getting into shape really is.

The key to starting an exercise plan is to think small. Think 30 to 45 minutes of exercise, not 2 hours. Certainly you can spare a half-hour or forty-five minutes of your time. Once you really get into it, you can kick-it up a notch if you'd like, but you don't have to.

Here is a simple three-day plan that you can do right from home and you don't need an expensive gym membership or fancy equipment. And I guarantee you'll discover healthy weight loss and more defined body in just two weeks. It's as easy as 1-2-3. Go to Target or Sears or K-mart and pick-up two 10-pound dumbbells. If you're feeling a bit stronger, get some 20-pound dumbbells. You may want to purchase both sets of dumbbells because depending on the exercise you're doing, you'll find that the amount of weight you need may vary.

1. (Monday) Arms and Chest

BICEPS (arms)

BICEP CURLS: Stand-up straight holding the dumbbells in each hand at your side. Slowly lift one arm at time leaving your elbows in place. Bring the dumbbell from your side to your shoulder. Do 10-12 repetitions with each arm and do three sets. A great workout for your biceps.

TRICEPS (arms)

TRICEP EXTENSIONS: Keep both feet together, bend over slightly, rest one hand on the wall and make sure your other arm is at your side with your elbow at 90 degrees. Your elbow to your hand should be facing perpendicular to the floor. Extend the dumbbell straight back without moving your elbow and do three sets of 10-12 repetitions with each arm.

PECTORAL (chest)

CHEST PRESS: Lie down on a bench, bring both arms to your armpit area with dumbbells in hand and extend both arms straight up. Do 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions. If you don't have a bench, good old-fashioned push-ups will get the job done.

Tip! Set Realistic Goals The first step to weight loss is setting a realistic goal. By using a BMI chart and consulting with your health care provider, you can determine what a healthy weight is for you.

2. (Wednesday) Back, shoulders and trapezoid muscles

BACK

DUMBELL ROWS: Place left knee on a bench or chair with a dumbbell resting on the ground. Reach down and grab the dumbbell with your right arm. Bring the dumbbell straight-up under your armpit without moving any body part but your arm. Do 3 sets of ten repetitions with each arm.

SHOULDERS: Stand straight-up, holding both dumbbells at your side. Keep arm straight and move one are at a time directly away from your body at shoulder height. Do 3 sets or 10-12 repetitions with each arm. (do not use more than 10 pounds for this exercise)

SHOULDER SHRUGS (TRAPEZOIDS): Stand straight up holding both arms at your side with dumbbells in hand. Lift both shoulders up toward your ears and pause at the top. Do 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions.

3. (Friday) Legs

QUADRICEPS: Stand-up straight, hold both dumbbells at your side and squat down as if you're sitting in a chair. Do 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions.

CALVES: Stand straight-up, hold both dumbbells at your side and stand-up on your tiptoes. Hold at the top for a couple of seconds. Do 3 sets of 10 to 12 repetitions.

These exercises should take you 15 to 20 minutes to complete. When you are done with your weight training you can use the remaining time to incorporates some cardiovascular activity like walking, running, swimming or biking. Once you get the hang of it, you can purchase some additional dumbbells if you feel you need more weight. This 1-2-3 system will get you on your way toward easy weight loss and a healthier body. The key: be consistent.

"How To Avoid Those 5 Awful Words..."

The Five Dreaded Words to Avoid "I'm Not in the Mood" with Some Libido-Lifting Tips

Tell me if you can relate to the following experience:A long week of work has finally reached its end. Sure, the week was difficult, but the main reason for its lengthiness was due to anticipation -- anticipation of what the weekend held in store.

All weekends are great. But this weekend was billed to be WAY above average. Why? Because you were spending it with your significant other, away from it all, in one of the finest of hotels your city has to offer. And if a little bit of luck was on your side, it would turn out to be one of the more memorable "experiences" of a lifetime -- ahem, if you know what I mean (and I think you do).

Turns out, things didn't go as planned. The hotel was great, and the decor was to die for, but The Five Dreaded Words were spoken, the ones that always put the kibosh on a romantic night of lovemaking: "I'm not in the mood."

Each one of us have either felt or heard these words spoken before, and whether you're the giver or the receiver, it's never pleasant. Sex is a HUGE part of a relationship, and when opportunities for lovemaking go by the wayside, it frequently diminishes forthcoming opportunities -- whether it's due to fear of the same thing happening again, or the lowering of expectations.

The key, of course, is to have that "motivation" within you at all times so those Five Dreaded Words are never spoken. Here's a small helping of ways in which to keep your libido lifted so you can avoid the 5DW :

DietSkeptics argue that keeping one's libido lifted through diet is a self-fulfilling prophecy; in other words, if you think almonds or chocolate will lift your libido, odds are good they will. But scientific evidence -- not psychosomatic hogwash -- suggests that certain foods do, indeed, lift one's libido.

For example, a study from Southwestern University found that coffee beans lift the libido of females. For men, the love-lifting libation is tea, specifically Damiana tea. Alternative health expert Dr. Sarah Brewer says the ingredient responsible for increasing male libido in this tea is called gonzalitosin.

This ingredient sends a tingling sensation to the penis. As a man, all I can say is, "Say no more!"Supplements Supplementing with vitamins and minerals are, hopefully, a normal part of your daily regimen, but specific supplements provide a great boost to your sex drive.

Take St. John's Wort as an example. St. John's Wort has a multitude of benefits -- from improving one's mood to improving one's mind -- and those benefits can be found in the bedroom. Because of its mood-improving properties, studies have shown that 60 percent of people formerly uninterested in sex regained their interest after taking St. John's Wort.

Care for two more? Try ginseng and gingko biloba on for size (and no, I don't mean that kind of size). Ginseng is one of the earliest herbs to be widely marketed in the United States, and it's taken by millions of people regularly for the natural boost of energy it provides.

So for people whose energy levels leave them pooped time comes for whoopee, ginseng is just the thing. As for gingko biloba, this oddly-named herb stimulates blood flow throughout the body and brain (which explains why it's taken by those who have a hard time remembering things).

As blood flow improves its flow throughout the body, it serves as the perfect elixir for those who have a hard time getting a, shall we say, "hard on." Research published in the Journal of Sex Education and Therapy found that men who took gingko biloba regularly were able to maintain erections after six months (granted, gingko biloba is not an overnight healer, but the improvement took place, and it took place without the negative side effects that always accompany male impotency drugs)

.A low libido may feel like something that's out of your hands; something that will come back on its own in its own due course. That may be the case, but more often than not, it can be through our every-day actions and lifestyle.

Lady Doc Gets Death Threats for Revealing TOP SECRET Fat Loss Secret to General Public

A new breakthrough secret is all you now need in order to forever shed countless pounds, stay healthy, and add many years to your life!A lady doctor from Arizona has blown the lid off the best-kept secret in weight loss ever discovered -- and this has the whole diet food and drug industries turned upside down and in nothing less than a torrential uproar.
Her name is Dr Suzanne Gudakunst, and she's marching to the beat of a different drum. And no, nothing about her "secret" is difficult -- nor does it require that you do something completely out of the ordinary or anything unnatural.Instead, the Arizonian boasts proudly "...this is something that I caught onto just before 2002 when there was so much research and exploration going around concerning the human colon and digestive system working in harmony with nutritional absorption, and I started doing independent studies just to test things at first ... but which I later expanded on after seeing some fantastic results."This same woman medical practitioner went on to accurately determine a definitive correlation between harmful plague and parasitic infestations of the human bowel tract, and people suffering chronic obesity -- and who despite intense diet and exercise appeared to be unable to lose any weight whatsoever.Over the course of six years the Arizona doctor developed a number of natural treatments for the removal of these same harmful, even life-threatening plaques and rapidly reproducing digestive parasites -- and when applied to even worse-case patients suffering extreme obesity (98% of which were in immediate danger of dying) she saw a 100% effectiveness and success rate.
She then borrowed from her research on the severely obese, and applied the same strategies on milder cases of overweight persons -- only to find the same effectiveness and quality results as described above (although the individual weight loss per subject wasn't nearly as much as those obese patients 100 lbs to 200 lbs or more overweight). So powerful is her secret that she's able to reverse diabetes, rid illness altogether in people suffering from cancer (linked directly to poor diet and overweight factors), as well as an elimination of an entire spectrum of serious and otherwise life-threatening diseases.Nearly 100% of all her case subjects were told in the alternative by "conventional doctors" that they either had just months or years to live, or they would never live a life anything resembling remotely a "normal" existence -- yet after applying Dr Suzanne's treatments saw a complete contradiction to others doctors' prognoses.Again, nothing about her secret is unnatural or requires someone to do any major action or modification in their lives. In fact, her entire treatment is based completely on built-into-nature 'protection agents' scattered throughout the world in the form of select herbs, extracts, and organic constituents, and which can be found in a variety of plants -- but when combined in specific combinations and carefully chosen amounts make for a solution to what is perhaps the world's worst ever plague: OBESITY (and the illnesses and diseases resulting from it -- or at least severely aggravated or exacerbated by it).Now to everyone else's great gain, whether suffering from just a few extra pounds and inches, to those extremely fat and overweight, this brave, bold lady doctor is releasing to the general public her secret for forever destroying the tight unrelenting closed-fist of obesity's stronghold over the now more than 40% of Americans labeled obese, and others worldwide.
But she's not promising any of us for how long. Some experts and sociologists suggest that in the bigger scheme of things, the world will never tolerate a discovery of such magnitude, any more than it would be realistic to expect a car that runs on water (even if very real) to ever become commercially available to the general public for day-to-day use.One well-respected and famous diet & wellness author wrote years ago that if anyone ever "truly unlocked the keys to permanent fat loss, they may actually suffer the same fate as JFK."It is currently available at: => http://tinyurl.com/65o3z6...so you may want to head on over there now and get it and before someone or "something" gets it forever yanked out of ever getting in YOUR hand at least. It's in a very easily readable format and is quickly and readily understood and mastered by anyone with even a 4th grade reading level. While you're there, why not scroll down and review for yourself the huge successes others are now having with this incredible breakthrough in rapid, massive weight loss and extremely improved and enhanced health, now made freely available to the rest of us?-Don

Walking For Weight Loss

I've been watching too much TV lately. I think am suffering from paid commercial overdose.

Everything from juicers and foodsavers to inflatable exercise equipment and treadmills have been on TV lately. Some of the stuff looks pretty good. However there are some things you can do to lose weight that will cost you nothing but a little effort.

One of the best things you can do is simply walk. That's right, walk. Walking has a lot of health benefits, including weight loss. Walking a mile will burn approximately 100 calories, depending on your present weight. For most folks, walking a mile is doable. Running or jogging a mile is a lot harder on the body.

Studies have recently shown that you don t even need to do all of your walking at once. If your goal is to walk 30 minutes a day, you can even break it down into 3 ten minute sessions.

That means you can even do it in front of the television while watching infomercials! I ve even seen video tapes to walk away your poundage.

Here are a couple of ways to get started.

First, buy a pedometer, wear it wherever you go. The steps you take throughout the day count towards your weight loss goal. There is actually a program called 10,000 steps. The more steps you take, the more your body and waistline benefit.

Second, go for a walk. If it s too hot or too cold outside, walk in place in front your television.

So what are you waiting for? Go outside for a walk, or turn on the TV and watch your favorite infomercial and start walking off those inches!

Weight Loss and Nutrition - How to Lose 10 Pounds in 2 Weeks

By Jennifer Jolan

Here's the truth on weight loss and nutrition... and how to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks. First off, it is totally realistic to be able to lose 10 pounds in that short amount of time.

But it isn't easy if you want all that weight to be fat and not muscle or water weight. Read on to find out the truth.

How to Lose 10 Pounds in 2 Weeks

Weight loss and nutrition go hand-in-hand...

To lose weight as quickly as possible, diet and nutrition are the big keys. Exercise plays a secondary role... all be it, a very important role.

The keys to diet are simple... get a lot of fiber, eat small meals often, don't drink your calories, and protein at every meal. Lets get into those points.

Eat a lot of fiber - The average fat American gets around 7-10 grams of fiber a day. Not even close to the 25 grams the government recommends. The fact is, the government stat is too low as well. You'd be better off getting over 40 grams of fiber a day to be on the safe side.

Top fiber choices.... legumes such as black beans, lentils, and blackeyed peas. Broccoli, cauliflower, and apples are good choices among fruits and vegetables.

Eat smaller meals - Basically, it's better for your digestive system and your blood sugar if you eat more often, but eat less each time. Your body is overburdened when you eat big meals. So spread them out. You can eat the same amount of calories, just do it over more meals.

Don't drink your calories - The average American now gets OVER 25% of his or her calories from liquids. Now, look at the average American and tell me what you see. Well, to be blunt, you see a fat person. It's not really a coincidence. Drink water and green tea.

Eat protein with each meal - Protein is a metabolism booster. So get it as often as you can. Plus it helps regulate your blood sugar by keeping sugars in check when you eat protein with high carb foods. The more often you eat or drink protein, the easier time you'll have losing weight.

If you followed this simple advice, it's entirely possible that you can lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Weight loss and nutrition isn't hard if you just break it down into simple things you can do.

Lose Weight Fast Using These 3 Simple Activities

Some people believe that the only way to lose weight is to spend hours working out at the gym. And that's simply not true. You really can lose weight just by doing regular day to day activities like yoga, running, or walking. Let's look at these three simple ways for you to lose weight fast.

Walking is sometimes the best exercise you can do, because pretty much anyone can do it. Not every one can start out walking several miles each day, but in most cases everyone can start out by walking around the block. Or even walking around the mall. By doing this each day, or even a few times each week, you will soon find yourself able to walk two or 3 miles at once. And every bit of walking you do helps burn fat and lose weight.

Some people find running interesting while others find it quite boring. And if you do it wrong, by running too fast for instance, will find yourself gasping for breath and exhausted. This is actually why most people don't like running as an exercise. What you might not realize though, is that you don't have to run fast just to burn fat and lose weight. In fact, you can start out simply by walking fast. As you get used to that level of exercise, you can increase your pace to a slow steady jog.

If you have joint problems, or recent leg injuries, or other diseases which cause joint pain such as arthritis, then running might not be the best exercise for you.

Yoga is another excellent way to burn fat and lose weight. Most people don't realize this, but it's true. In fact, feel that they sometimes even better than running or walking. You'll go help strengthen your muscles, increase your endurance, and relieve stress at the same time. All the while been very low impact, so there's less risk to your joints and extremities. Spending just 30 minutes a day doing yoga, can help improve your body as well as your mind.
